  11. Make ready 8 oz medium shrimp, peeled, deveined and diced
  12. Prepare 2 cloves garlic, minced
  13. Take 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  14. Take 1 tbls oyster sauce
  15. Prepare 2 tbls soy sauce
  16. Make ready 1 tbls freshly grated ginger
  17. Make ready 1 tsp sesame oil
  18. Take 1/2 tsp Sriracha, optional
  19. Get 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  20. Make ready 36 (2 inch) Wonton wrappers

Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to maintain a bare simmer and cover. Instructions Roughly chop the cooked shrimp reserving four of them for garnishing. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, water chestnuts, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, chopped green onion, and a pinch of white pepper. Spoon appx 1 tsp of the shrimp mixture on to the center of the wrappers. Using your finger, rub the edge of the wrappers with water. Fold the dough over the filling to creat a triangle, pinch the edges to seal, set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tbls sesame oil in a large stock pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, and cook stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Whisk in chicken broth, mushrooms and 2 cups water.
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer till mushrooms have softened, about 10 minutes. Stir in greens and/or bok choy, and green onions. Stir in miso paste until well combined, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Stir I wontons until cooked through, appx 2-3 minutes
