Steps to make Prawn curry:
  1. Take a bowl, marinate prawns, with salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Heat a pan, add 2 tbsp oil and fry the prawns in a medium flame until it turns golden. Transfer into a plate and keep aside.
  3. Heat another pan, add 4-5 tbsp mustard oil and let it heat.
  4. Add cumin seeds and bay leaves. Let it fry for few seconds.
  5. Add green chillies, chopped onion and saute until the onions turn translucent.
  6. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 3-4 minutes on a low to medium flame.
  7. Add chopped tomatoes, salt and turmeric powder. Saute for 3-4 minutes in a low flame.
  8. Add chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and saute until the oil separates.
  9. Add fried prawns and saute for 2 minutes.
  10. Add 2 cups of water and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
  11. Add garam masala powder. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
  12. Serve hot with steamed rice. Enjoy.
