How to Make Spicy Bata Fish curry Cut and wash the fish pieces thoroughly. Marinade with salt and a pinch of turmeric. Pan fry to a light golden brown colour on both the sides. Bata Macher Aloo Peyaj Diye Jhol is one of the most famous and economic dishes of every Bong house.

  2. Fry fish on both the sides

  4. Add onion, fry till golden brown
  5. Add tomato after 3 - 4 min green chillies. Stir it
  6. Add jeera powder, red chilli powder, haldi mix it well
  7. Add 2 tbsp water cook it for 3 - 4 min. In medium flame.
  8. Add salt and sugar and mix it well
  9. Again add 2 cups of water. When boiled add the fried fish pieces one by one
  10. Cover the lid for 10 min. Put off the burner
  11. Ur fish was ready to eat. Garnish with coriander leaves
  12. Serve hot with plain rice
