The ingredients needed to make Omelette Curry:
  1. Make ready as needed Oil
  2. Get 4 eggs
  3. Take 1 small onion finely chopped
  4. Get 2 cups water
  5. Get 1 inch stick cinnamon or dalchini
  6. Make ready 1 bay leaf or tej patta
  7. Make ready to taste Salt
  8. Take 2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
  9. Take 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  10. Prepare 1/2 tbsp haldi/Turmeric powder
  11. Take 2 medium size onion puree
  12. Prepare 3 medium size tomato puree
  13. Prepare 2-3 chopped green chillies
  14. Make ready 2 teaspoon egg masala
  15. Prepare 2 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leaves
  16. Prepare 1/2 tbsp kasoori methi
  17. Take 1 tbsp mustard oil
Instructions to make Omelette Curry:
  1. Crack the eggs in a bowl, season with salt, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Add onion and coriander. Mix well.
  2. Grease your mould with oil and pour omelette, place it on the steamer. Add 1 cup of water and steam for 6 to 7 minutes. The steam omelette is ready.
  3. Take a pan, heat oil and add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, onion puree and cook until onion turns pink. And then add ginger and garlic paste. Cook until the raw smell disappears.
  4. Then add red chilli powder and egg masala and cook the masala completely. And after that add tomato puree. Cook until oil begins to separate from the sides.
  5. Add 2 cups of water, salt as per taste, mustard oil, kasoori methi, freshly chopped coriander leaves. Cook omelette gravy on low flame for 10 minutes.
  6. Add steam omelette into the gravy and cook for 10 - 15minutes on low flame. Once the curry is cooked well, switch off the flame. Serve hot with roti or rice.
